A fine model produced by Blue Jacket

I came across this large scratch-built model of a four-stacker on an auction site. It is very unusual in its appearance, in that it has TWO guns forward. I didn't buy the model, and I don't know any more about it than that. If you can identify this ship, please let me know!

REVELL made a series of four-stacker kits. I've gotten three now, and one of them is fully built as USS WARD. (better photos soon)

Here are some of the packages you can find the REVELL four stackers in. If you want to build one, you can still find these kits, unbuilt, on auction sites. Actually, they are all from the same molds, but packaged in different boxes as varying hull numbers over the years. Expect to pay $20 and up for one of these.

Another of the same. I was disappointed with this one. HMS CAMPBELTOWN (ex-USS BUCHANAN, see above) had extensive modifications made by the British. None of them are reflected in this kit, which uses the same parts as all the others in the series, except the decals.
